Optimal Battery Use
Our motor can run on a 12V or 24V battery, though a 24V supply is recommended for optimal performance. It will not harm your motor if run on a lower voltage; however, the power output will be reduced. Thus, our motor is adaptable to a variety of power setups.
Tips: Can a 12V battery run a 24V BLDC motor?
Either go 12V or add another battery and run the rated 24V. It won't hurt your motor. Most newer ones will not even turn over because the circuit board senses less than 22 volts (dead 24v system). Old ones will turn over but you will have half power.
